  • Design and deliver stakeholder-ready presentations that communicate data and AI-driven insights effectively through dashboards, visualizations, and storytelling tailored to business audiences.
  • Perform statistical, algorithmic, and AI-based analyses on diverse data sets—including cloud-based and on-premises sources—using appropriate tools and techniques to generate actionable insights.
  • Evaluate and compare machine learning and artificial intelligence approaches for data analytics applications, assessing their characteristics, limitations, and performance for specific use cases.
  • Use industry-recognized tools and platforms to extract, transform, analyze, and visualize data, ensuring reproducibility, accuracy, and clarity in reporting.
  • Apply ethical considerations, privacy concerns, and security issues related to AI and data analytics systems, and describe responsible AI principles and frameworks.
  • Apply business mathematics and financial analysis techniques, including cost-benefit analysis, return on investment calculations, and time value of money, to evaluate data-driven initiatives.

You’ll learn skills that you can apply to projects in a wide range of industries, and then you’ll put your new applied learning to the test by completing a capstone project with an industry partner. Not only will your capstone project give you the opportunity to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the skills you have developed, you’ll meet key players in local organizations so that you can start building your professional network.
