Through the generosity of donors, hundreds of students benefit annually from awards that collectively exceed $600,000.

All Holland College applicants and students are eligible to apply for scholarships, bursaries and awards.

 

When Can I Apply?

To apply for an entrance award, you will need to have an active Holland College application. Enrolled awards are for students currently studying at Holland College. Many awards only require the general application for consideration, but some will ask you for additional information such as a transcript, biography, or a description of your extracurricular involvement. All required documents need to be submitted as PDFs.

How To Apply

  1. Sign in to apply for awards using the personal email address that you used to apply to Holland College.

  2. Complete the general application
    The general application requires personal, financial, and statistical information.

    Based on your general awards application and Holland College student data, you will be automatically be matched to all the awards you meet the criteria for and your application will be submitted for them.
  3. Apply for Additional Awards
    You will receive recommendations for additional award opportunities that may require more information, such as a biography, essay, or transcript. Look through these recommendations and apply for any for which you are eligible.

Award Deadlines

ENTRANCE AWARDS: Deadline to apply is MARCH 31.

Applications for students planning to begin to their studies or entering their second year of study in September 2027 can be submitted from January 23 to March 31, 2027.
Entrance awards for September 2026 are now closed.
 

ENROLLED & WINTER ENTRANCE AWARDS: Deadline to apply is NOVEMBER 1. Applications for students currently enrolled or planning to begin their studies in December 2026 or January 2027 can be submitted from September 23 to November 1, 2026.

When Will I Be Notified?

  • Successful applicants for September entrance awards will be notified by email in May and funds will be applied to student accounts in September.
  • Successful applicants for December entrance will be notified by email in late November and funds will be applied to student accounts in December.
  • Successful applicants for January entrance and enrolled awards will be notified by email in December and funds will be applied to student accounts in January.
