Our Guide for Accepted Students


Congratulations on being accepted to Holland College!

You're joining a community that is committed to your success.

This guide will walk you through the next steps, so you can start your journey with confidence.

Step 1

Confirm Your Acceptance

Once you’ve received your acceptance email, log in to your Holland College Dashboard to view your acceptance letter and take action.

What to do next:

  • Review your acceptance details
  • Pay your tuition deposit to secure your seat
  • Check your Dashboard for any additional supporting documents that may be required.

    Please note: Holland College does not defer applications or acceptances to future intakes. 

Step 2

Complete your Dashboard account
  • If you're studying a program from our Health Studies, Community Studies or the Atlantic Police Academy deptartments, you will need to send additional documents to complete your student account.

  • If you're an international student, you can now apply for your Study Permit and Co-op permits. Upload a copy of your approval and permit to your dashboard as soon as you recieve it. You can find more information through our International Hub

Step 3

Register for Courses

Course registration opens for first year students on April 30th. You will complete registration using our Self-Service platform. 

Why registration matters:

  • Confirms your course schedule
  • Triggers access to student systems
  • Helps the college plan program delivery

Step 4

Plan your Finances

Tuition fees vary by program. Review your program page for the latest information.
Visit our Payments & Refunds page to review our payment process and find our payment policies.

Helpful tips:

  • Budget for tuition, books, supplies, and living expenses
  • Payment is due on the first day of classes.

Awards & Scholarships

All students are encouraged to explore:

  • Entrance awards
  • In-program scholarships
  • External funding opportunities and student loans

Applications for College Entrance Awards close on March 31. Other deadlines vary.  

Step 5

Make Housing Arrangements

If you hope to live in residence, you will need to apply as soon as possible.

Our residence is located at the Prince of Wales Campus in Charlottetown. Students at the Atlantic Police Academy should review their program's residence requirements.

Important:

  • Residence space is limited
  • A residence application fee applies
  • Residence fees include utilities etc.

Off-Campus Housing

If you choose to live off campus, we have resources to help you find safe, suitable accommodations.

Step 6

Connect with Student Supports

Our goal is to help you reach your potential and we have supports to help you along the way.

Student services include:

  • Academic advising
  • Counselling services
  • Accessibility and accommodation services
  • Health and wellness supports
  • Career and employment services

You are encouraged to connect with these supports early in your program.
