A Message from the Program

Welcome to the Pathways to College and Workplace Success program at the Summerside Waterfront Campus!

Starting a phase in your education can feel exciting, daunting, or even a little overwhelming. You might be coming straight from high school, from many years in the workforce, or from various other life pursuits. Wherever you’re coming from, this program is designed to help you move forward on a new career path with greater confidence, direction, and practical experience.

Throughout the year, you will have opportunities to explore different career and education options, build skills for college and the workplace, complete a wide range of projects, and learn more about your own strengths, interests, and goals. You will also take part in workplace experiences that can help you better understand what different careers are really like and whether they are a good fit for you.

You are not expected to have your future figured out when you arrive. Pathways is a place to ask questions, try new things, explore possibilities, make new connections and friends….and hopefully have lots of fun doing it!

I’m looking forward to meeting you and getting the year started!
