Welcome, and congratulations on your acceptance into the Pastry Arts program at the Tourism and Culinary Centre.
You are about to begin a very exciting and busy new chapter of your life! The information provided here is intended to help you prepare for the upcoming semester. Please read through it carefully, and contact us if you have any questions.

All texts will be provided for you through the tuition fees.
You will receive three pairs of checkered pants and three chef jackets personalized with your name. Other parts of the uniform, such as aprons, hats, and side towels, will be issued to you. Chef jackets will be laundered by CIC. You will be responsible for laundering the pants.
You will receive a knife kit, which will include the essential tools for your learning.
The only piece of the uniform you are responsible for purchasing before the beginning of the school year is a pair of black, steel-toe, non-slip shoes which have an enclosed heel.
Computer Labs are available for student use
Welcome to the Pastry Arts program at The Culinary Institute of Canada! We look forward to supporting you as you embark on your baking and patisserie journey. Classes will begin on September 8 at the Tourism Culinary Centre, 4 Sydney St., Charlottetown. You will have an orientation to the Pastry Arts program in the morning downstairs in The Marché, followed by a tour of the TCC, receive your textbooks, student schedule, locker and knife kits as well as have a uniform fitting for your chef whites. Please register for your courses before you arrive. We are here to support and guide you through this process, so please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
