A Message from the Program


Welcome to the HVAC Technology program! Here is a look at what you can expect from the course:

During year 1, you will focus on the basics of jobsite safety, electricity, fluid properties and thermodynamics. We will also dive into the understanding of gas and oil heating systems. 

Year 2 of our program will focus on the principles of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and controls. This would include things such as system wiring, troubleshooting, adding/removing refrigerant, and ensuring systems are installed and maintained properly.
