Welcome, and congratulations on your acceptance into the Human Resource Management program at the Prince of Wales Campus.
You are about to begin a very exciting and busy new chapter of your life! The information provided here is intended to help you prepare for the upcoming year. Please read through it carefully, and contact us if you have any questions.

There is one required textbook for this program. Please purchase your bundled copy (hardcopy + MindTap) at Samuel’s Campus Bookstore no later than Sept. 8, 2026: Managing Human Resources, 11th Canadian Edition, Singh, Risavy, Belcourt, Snell, Morris, 2026 (Cengage).
None. Access to computer, Word and PowerPoint is needed.

Please get your HollPass no later than September 8, as doors are locked on Saturdays and in the evenings and you will need your HollPass to enter the building.
PLEASE NOTE: The first day of class for Human Resource Management is on Saturday, September 12.
We are excited to have you in the Human Resource Management Program this fall! As you should already be aware, this program has a unique delivery mode with full-day classes approximately every other Saturday and 80% of the course work being completed independently using our Learning Management System, SAM. This allows students to keep their full time job while achieving their goal to obtain a Certificate in Human Resource Management.
