Modern Dental Assisting Pkg. 15th Edition Author: Elsevier, Pkg Includes: Textbook, Workbook, and eText.
The Dental Assisting program is fully accredited and nationally recognized for its high-quality training. Students receive comprehensive theoretical instruction in a classroom setting, followed by hands-on practice in our newly renovated dental clinic. This modern facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including six operatories, six simulation labs, a 3Shape TRIOS digital scanner, three radiography operatories, a Panorex unit, and a fully upgraded dental laboratory. In addition, the clinic features a fully equipped sterilization area that meets current IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) guidelines.
The program maintains an approximate 10:1 student-to-instructor ratio, ensuring students receive personalized guidance and expert support throughout their training. By the time of graduation, students will be proficient in the full core skill set recognized across Canada. Upon successful completion of the National Dental Assisting Board Examination, graduates are eligible for licensure in all Canadian provinces.
We collaborate with local industry leaders, educational institutions, and national dental assisting organizations to ensure our graduates are well-prepared to meet all aspects of the dental assisting profession.
Welcome to the Dental Assisting Program at Holland College. We are pleased to offer a face-to-face program for the 2026-2027 academic year. This means students are expected to attend and fully participate in all theory, lab, and clinical courses during the program.
