All students attending this program need to come prepared with two pieces of government ID, one must have a valid picture. Students need to have collected the following information to complete a security clearance form, as on-the-job training placements for this program may require a security assessment application in accordance with the Controlled Goods Program. Which includes, but is not limited to, the provision of personal information regarding the student’s country of origin, citizenship(s), five years of residential history, educational history, employment history, criminal history, travel history, three personal references from nonfamily related persons that have known you for five years.
Students need to be able to produce this information early in the program. Results from this additional documentation or security assessment may impact your ability to complete an on-the-job training placement at some companies.
Welcome to the Aircraft Turbine Technician (ATT) program at Holland College. Today you are taking the first step in your continued education for a new career. Although there are no guarantees in these times of economic uncertainty, this industry historically has had a great success rate for students hired after completion of the program.
