Holland College and the Holland College Foundation recently celebrated the opening of Donor and Alumni Hall, a new space dedicated to recognizing the generosity, achievements, and lasting impact of donors and alumni who have helped shape the college and the lives of its students.
Located within the main entrance of Charlottetown Centre on the Prince of Wales Campus, Donor and Alumni Hall celebrates the College’s Distinguished Alumni and recognizes donors to the Holland College Foundation whose cumulative giving has reached significant milestones. Together, their stories reflect a legacy of generosity, achievement, and belief in the transformative power of education.
“The Donor and Alumni Hall reflects the lasting impact of people who believe in Holland College, our students, and the opportunities that education can create,” said Mark Ledwell, Chair of the Holland College Foundation Board. “We are proud to celebrate their contributions and the difference they continue to make.”
The Hall also serves as a source of inspiration for current and future students, highlighting the accomplishments of alumni who have made meaningful contributions in their professions and communities, alongside donors whose generosity helps students pursue their own goals.
“As our students walk through this space, they will see the achievements of those who came before them and the generosity of those who invested in their future,” said Natalie Mitton, President & CEO of Holland College. “Most importantly, they will see a community that believes in their potential.”
Through scholarships and bursaries, learning resources, student supports, and other initiatives, donors to the Holland College Foundation help create opportunities and remove barriers for students, while Distinguished Alumni demonstrate the many ways a Holland College education can make an impact in communities across Prince Edward Island and beyond.
