Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician/Mechanic or Apprentice at H-Line Enterprises

Job Description

Skills and experience required (but are not limited to):

• Experience and/or training with hydraulic and electro-hydraulic booms (an asset).
• Ideally 5+ years’ experience as a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or Truck and Transport Mechanic (electric utility experience preferred). Apprentices working towards these disciplines will be considered.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic systems on automotive, heavy-duty, and utility vehicles/equipment.
• Experience in a regulated environment (electrical/energy industry experience is an asset).
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic systems related to radial boom diggers and aerial devices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to build effective relationships with team members and customers.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel (basic spreadsheets and formulas); comfortable learning new applications.
• Solid organizational and analytical skills; able to work independently and in a team environment.

• Grade 12 Graduate
• Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic/Technician or Truck & Transport Mechanic
• Mechanical Apprentices working towards their Red Seal
