Events & Marketing Coordinator at Eliyahu Wellness Centre

Key Responsibilities Managing and creating content for the Centre’s and Town’s social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram Capturing photos and videos during events, activities, and community programs Designing posters, graphics, and promotional materials for digital and print use Promoting events, tournaments, fundraisers, recreational programming, and community initiatives Assisting with event setup, coordination, and day-of operations Writing social media posts, advertisements, announcements, and promotional content Engaging with community members, sponsors, user groups, businesses, and visitors in a professional and positive manner Helping maintain websites and digital communications Tracking social media engagement and identifying opportunities to increase audience reach Supporting sponsorship recognition and community partnership initiatives Assisting staff with general facility and event-related duties as required

Qualifications & Skills Post-secondary education is required, including students entering post-secondary studies in Fall 2026 Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience using social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram Creativity and an interest in marketing, communications, and community engagement Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends during events Experience with graphic design platforms such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is considered an asset Photography and videography skills are considered an asset
