Scott graduated from the Business Administration program in 1987 and immediately joined his father, Morley, in the family business as a truck driver. In 2002, he became the general manager.
Scott has been a driving force within the trucking industry in PEI for the past 25 years and, under his leadership, Morley Annear Ltd. continues to thrive and expand. He is also a partner in a new venture, River Run Dining Cruises, operated out of Montague.
Scott is past president of the PEI Trucking Sector Council and is on the board for the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association. He is very active in the Montague Rotary Club, serves as the Chair of the Lower Montague Council, and is the president of the Montague Curling Club. He is also a member of the Masons and the Shriners service clubs.
A community-minded individual, Scott has been successful in multiple facets of society, from growing a farming operation to commerce, recreation, to fundraising.
Scott received a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2016.
