This course is intended to prepare the student for the Transport Canada NS2 exam. The NS2 exam is a three-hour exam and consists of 50 multiple choice questions worth 2 marks each and will test the student’s thorough knowledge of content, application, and intent of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 with Canadian Modifications, Marine Personnel Regulations, Part II, STCW Code Section A-VIII/2, Canadian Notices to Mariners – Annual Edition, and Routeing Standards. We recommend that you spend a minimum of three weeks preparing for this exam.
