Fishing Master


Please contact your local Transport Canada Marine Safety Inspector to confirm what level of certification you require for your vessel and area of operation. Transport Canada issues the Certificate of Competency, we only provide the training and cannot advise you on your certification.  Refer to the Marine Personnel Regulations for information on required sea time experience for each level of certification.

The duration of each course is the recommended amount of time to prepare for the exam, based on six hours of study per day. An instructor is available by email or phone to assist as needed.
