She is inspired by the human experience, emotional connection, and the oral traditions of storytelling through song. Marli seeks to share her own life experience, as she explores her past of growing up queer, in a community that not only excluded those that identified as LGBTQ+, but also condemned it. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to experience working for a label firsthand; to learn the ins and outs of the business and get to connect with these incredibly talented and creative artists that we represent”.
