Job Description

Graphic Designer Bulk Carriers, a leading transportation and logistics company, is seeking a talented and motivated graphic designer intern to join our creative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student currently enrolled in the graphic design program at Holland College or UPEI to gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Job Description: As a graphic designer intern at Bulk Carriers, you will work closely with our marketing team to create visually stunning designs that effectively communicate our brand and services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conceptualizing and developing designs for various marketing materials, including flyers, advertisements, social media graphics and website.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to understand project requirements and ensure designs align with Bulk Carriers' brand guidelines.
• Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to create high-quality graphics and layouts.
• Assisting with the production of multimedia materials, such as video graphics.
• Conducting research and gathering inspiration for new design concepts.
• Providing creative input and contributing to the overall design process.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in second year graphic design program
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Having a portfolio is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• A skill in photography is an added advantage not required.
