The Olde Village Bakery is looking for a baker. We are looking for a team- player, that is creative and has a passion for baking. Our vision is to bring new, innovative treats and seasonally inspired product to the bakery scene on PEI This person would work alongside 2 other bakers and a support team. Experience with baking bread is important. Experience and culinary arts training is an asset. The position is 40 hours per week (Wednesday to Sunday)  hourly rate is $19-21 per hour. Three of the five days are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We would be open to some flexibility on these hours for the right candidate. Tips are paid out at the end of year along with a bonus based on bakery performance. The bakery is seasonal so we can work with students. Also can offer some work at Christmas if the candidate is interested. The bakery is in North Rustico and is very busy due to the tourism trade. The bakery has been newly renovated, and we have a great team in place. We are looking forward to a fun season.
