A donation to the Holland College Foundation is an investment in Holland College. Donations to the college are used to enhance classrooms and labs, providing instructors with the technology and equipment they need to ensure that students are fully prepared to enter the workforce. New resources and upgraded learning spaces encourage innovation, enabling college students and faculty to collaborate with industry to develop emerging technologies. Most importantly, an investment in Holland College helps to transform students, families, and communities in remarkable ways. The Holland College Foundation has raised more than $15 million for various Holland College priorities over the last 10 years.
Obtaining a post-secondary credential is increasingly challenging. Overall student debt has risen and, even if students are financially prepared, sometimes there are factors that hinder their educational pursuit: a personal or family crisis, illness, transportation difficulties, or cuts or delays in anticipated funding, for example. In response to these challenges, the Holland College Foundation is continually pursuing the establishment of new scholarships, bursaries, and awards.
More than 2,000 applications for student awards are received annually. The foundation is only able to fund 20 percent of them. Through the support of our donors, access to education and opportunities are provided for an increasing number of students each year. Providing students with the chance to succeed is one of the best investments anyone can make.
Every student, family, business, and organization on our Island and around the world has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The students of Holland College need our support now, more than ever, as they face unprecedented challenges. Please consider making a gift to student financial aid to help ease their financial burden and create opportunities for their futures.

Holland College is working diligently to address the many capacity and renewal needs across the province. With the help of our donors, enhancements are always underway.
Our current campaign, Nourish, has raised $7.5 million for the revitalization of The Culinary Institute of Canada, home to Holland College’s Culinary, Pastry Arts, and International Hospitality Management programs.
To ensure that our students are properly prepared to meet the demands of industry, our classrooms and labs must replicate real-world environments. In support of these constantly-evolving needs, donations in this area are critical. Tools and equipment, machinery, and other resources can be donated as gifts-in-kind.
