Students in our Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts programs start their real-world training in our upscale waterfront cafeteria, The Marché. In addition to serving our students and staff, the Marché is open to the public from October until May.
The Marche is not only an incredible place to grab lunch in downtown Charlottetown, it's also an essential tool in our student's culinary training. Our student chefs experience first-hand what it is like to prepare food for a high-volume restaurant. Students serve upwards of 400 people daily in The Marché.
Customers dining at The Marché can choose from daily specials at each of our culinary stations: bistro, entree, soup, deli, salad, and dessert. Students complete rotations in each of our Marché stations, developing hands-on experience preparing many types of cuisine.
