PLEASE NOTE: All bridge simulator courses will be on hold from January 11, 2021 to mid-April 2021 while our simulator is undergoing various software upgrades.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

 

TRANSPORT CANADA-APPROVED TRAINING


We have been providing Transport Canada-approved training for more than four decades. We have earned an international reputation for our exceptional quality of instruction, excellent facilities and convenient location. In addition to the full range of certifications from Bridge Watch Rating to Master Mariner, and Engine Rating to Chief Engineer, we offer many specialized courses.

We have built a reputation for quality and flexibility. Our training programs can be customized to meet specific needs and schedules for companies or larger groups.

MARINE TRAINING CENTRE FACILITIES


  • Kongsberg (Full Mission) DNV Class "A" ship's bridge simulator with an integrated full-function Dual Redundant Dynamic Positioning (DP) system
  • 5-station DP lab
  • PC-based engine room simulator system
  • Cargo holding simulator
  • Take a virtual tour of the Marine Training Centre

Power Engineering

Power Engineers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of boilers, turbines, and refrigeration and air conditioning in commercial or industrial buildings. Your knowledge of math and physics will be paired with the mechanical and technical knowledge needed to begin a career as a fourth-class power engineer in this one-year program.
