The Culinary Institute of Canada (CIC), Canada’s premier culinary school, provides first-class industry-based training in Culinary Arts, International Hospitality Management, and Pastry Arts.
Our programs are developed in consultation with industry to prepare our students to meet national standards in the food and beverage, and hospitality industries. While you are here, you’ll get hands-on experience in the kitchens of The Dining Room, a contemporary à la carte restaurant; in The Marché, an upscale cafeteria-style food service; in our retail production kitchens which prepare food for our Grab & Go onsite market. You will learn your skills in our state-of-the-art facilities, and then you will get a chance to hone them during an internship.

Study Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management and learn how to manage all the details that make a restaurant, resort, hotel, or nightclub a great experience for customers. Our business courses complement specialized training for food service, catering and hotel operations, and you will participate in practicums in our dining room and at local hotels during this two-year program.Pastry Arts
Take the one-year Pastry Arts program and become a pastry chef or baker. Learn to bake bread, pies, cakes, cookies, creams and pastries. Perfect your pastry skills by creating desserts for customers of our on-site restaurants each day.Tourism and Travel Management
Prepare for an exciting career in the Tourism and Events Management industry with this two-year program. Spend your first year studying introductory courses to tourism, hospitality, and events coordination, and in your second year, choose between two areas of specialization, Tourism and Travel Coordinator or Events Coordinator.
