Ben grew up immersed in the hospitality industry, making the Hotel and Restaurant Management program a natural choice for him. After graduating in 2006, he completed his degree at Ottawa University and then returned home to join the family business. Now, as the CEO of Murphy Hospitality Group and Whitecap Entertainment, Ben oversees restaurants, hotels, and PEI's two major music festivals: Cavendish Beach Music Festival and Sommo Festival.
