Ship Watchkeeping practices using a propulsive plant simulator is designed to provide knowledge of the safe and efficient operation of the ship's machinery to engineers.
This course is designed to provide knowledge of the safe and efficient operation of the ship’s machinery to watchkeeping engineers. Upon successful completion of this course the candidate will receive a training certificate that is required to obtain one of the following Certificates of Competency or Endorsement:

This course is designed to provide knowledge of corrective actions to be taken in problem solving in the recognition of signs and symptoms of a deteriorating function of ships machinery. Upon successful completion of this course an applicant will receive a training certificate that is required to obtain one of the following certificates of competency or endorsement:
PROPULSION PLANT SIMULATOR, LEVEL 2 Prerequisites: Must hold a min. Certificate of Competency at the 4th Class Engineer STCW level and at least 6 months of seatime onboard a vessel of at least 750 KW. Tuition: $2,000 |
