During your time in the program, you will be introduced to many aspects of the carpentry trade and will acquire an understanding of how a building is structurally supported and protected from the elements. Through classroom, lab, and on-site training you will be introduced to building lay-out, framing, roof systems, interior and exterior finish. We are proud of our learning facility and eager to assist you along your educational journey.
Students are required to have individual learning modules (ILMs) for class by September 6. These will be available at the Waterfront Campus Bookstore. Just ask for the Carpentry package. Book store phone: 902-888-6406
Not required for the first week. Required no later than September 11, feel free to wait until you get here for tool advice before you purchase.
