The program is located in the main Holland College building (Prince of Wales Campus) East wing.
When you enter the main entrance (Kent street) the cafeteria is to your right.
To your left is the library and stairs going up to the 2nd floor.
Take the stairs up and turn left at the top.
Go ALL the way down the hall, and Journalism is the last room on the right-hand side.
Mon-Fri 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday from noon to 6:30 p.m.
You will get a full schedule of Journalism and Communications classes in upcoming emails.
The classes you will be taking this fall semester are the following:
Politics, Ethics and Science are Monday, Wednesday (except Ethics, which is asynchronous that day) and Friday.
Manipulation and Law are Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You will each have your own iMac computer and desk available to you all year any time the school is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m on weekdays. You may also use your computer on weekends: Saturdays 8:30-5, Sundays noon-6:30 p.m.
Every student has a free account which you can use with your HC login and password. You will use Outlook email as your primary mode of contact with instructors. You will also have access to Word, OneDrive, PowerPoint and many more Microsoft apps, free of charge.
