Program inspires entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams

Holland College and Innovation PEI have partnered to offer an exciting new program designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs develop their businesses from the seed of an idea to the production of a functional, effective business plan.

Designed as a highly interactive and personalized experience, Building a Dream is an exceptional opportunity for anyone wishing to launch their own small business. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to finalize their “lender-ready” business plan and seek out funding opportunities to launch their new business enterprise.

The 10-week program runs on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Summerside Waterfront Campus starting on March 25. Program instructor Cam Beck said the program presents a unique opportunity for people who have been considering starting their own business.

“This is a hands-on, practical program for budding entrepreneurs. Together, we will work through the process of developing a solid business plan, the most important factor in securing financing for start-ups,” he said.

Funding may be available to cover part of the tuition fee, which is $300 +HST. Contact Brian Keefe at Innovation PEI to discuss potential tuition reimbursement opportunities for this course by calling (902) 436- 2246 ext 225 or by email.
