College hosts alumni barbecue in Summerside

Holland College is looking forward to welcoming graduates from all over Prince Edward Island to an alumni event for Islanders, to be held on the Summerside Waterfront Campus Thursday, June 27th from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Event Chair and distinguished alumnus Mayor Basil Stewart invites all graduates of the college and their families to come out and reconnect with old friends, enjoy a barbecue, entertainment by Summerside area musician Mike Dixon, and tours of the state-of-the-art training facility. There will also be children’s activities offered and many door prizes up for grabs.

College President Dr. Brian McMillan is looking forward to showcasing the new campus to Holland College alumni.

“It is with great pride that we open the doors of our new Waterfront Campus to our alumni. This facility has generated a great deal of interest and excitement in our Island community, and we are delighted to showcase it while we welcome our graduates back to Holland College for an evening of fun and entertainment,” he said.
