A Spa Sensation Symposium was recently held at Holland College's Tourism and Culinary Centre (TCC). The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), Tourism Prince Edward Island and the second year Travel and Tourism Management students at Holland College co-sponsored the event, which was open to all tourism and spa operators as well as those interested in developing the spa product on Prince Edward Island. Guest speakers at the event were Paul Madden, from Spa at the Monastery, St. John's Nfld and Director, Canadian Spa Association, and Pat Corbett, from Hills Health Ranch, B.C. and President, Canadian Spa Association. Also in attendance were Melody Gay, Tourism PEI, Patti-Sue Lee, ACOA and Marya Drummond, Travel and Tourism Management student.
