Production Manager / Senior Grower - supervising production of hardwood trees from seed and cuttings in greenhouse, raised beds and field, manage staff of three, in charge of day to day operations including planting, fertilization, watering, pruning etc
Horticultural or arboriculture diploma or degree or significant horticultural / tree growing experience, at least 2 years experience with plant production in a nursery or other organization, people-management experience, passion for trees and environmental work, willingness to learn and be a part of the team on a longer term basis
Arbor Nursery is located 20 minutes East of Charlottetown. The sea-side location offers a beautiful working environment. Extensive on the job training available. Nursery specializes in growing native hardwoods and landscape trees and uses regenerative and sustainable growing practices, and is involved in Net Zero and other climate change programs.
