Job Description

The City of Summerside’s Aquatics Department is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to be Swimming Lesson Instructors within the Community Services Department. Applicants must love working with kids, be outgoing and focused on making the learning experience fun. Duties will include:

• Record swimmers’ attendance
• Create lesson plans
• Keep participants on task
• Keep participants safe
• Evaluate participants skills
• Complete report cards

Qualifications

• Valid Swim Instructor Certification
• Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Certification
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong Communication skills with children and their families
