Job Description

Red Sands Cleaning helps manage over 100 vacation rentals across Prince Edward Island and is currently hiring cleaners for the upcoming summer season. This is a great opportunity to earn some extra cash and visit some remarkable cottages in PEI!

Job Description:

  • The role involves cleaning Airbnb-style vacation homes after guest check out and preparing them for the next guests.
  • Duties include following a detailed cleaning checklist and completing light restocking as needed (i.e. changing bedding, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, dishes, ect.)

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle 
  • A clean criminal record check
  • Punctual and respectful
  • Reliable individual

Shifts & Hours:

  • Most shifts are 3–4 hours, depending on the size of the rental. We offer both full-time and part-time positions. If the rental is large (i.e. sleeps 16 people) we will assign 2 or more cleaners together to make sure the cleaning is done on time.
  • Since these are turnover cleans, shifts typically take place during guest check-out hours, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
  • Weekend shifts are available.
  • Location: Cleaning locations vary across the island; however, we do our best to assign jobs close to where you live. If you are willing to drive outside of your living area, please let us know. We include mileage reimbursement with your employment
