We are a fishing/hunting resort on a private island on Lake of the Woods. Our dining room serves our resort guests as well as outside reservations. Both comfortable and refined, our cuisine is inspired by the wilderness of Lake of the Woods and features locally sourced and foraged products. Our menu is seasonally driven and changes daily to feature available ingredients.
Chef Kristin Moen is an awarded graduate of the Culinary Institute of Canada and has worked at some of the top restaurants in Canada. We are seeking one person to fill a cook position. This person will be assistant to the chef, working directly with them to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for both staff and guests. This is an excellent position for a current culinary student or recent graduate.
Duties include: Food Preparation, Hot Line Service, Receiving, Cleaning.
This is seasonal work beginning early May through October. Wages start at $17/hr Room/board is provided. Applicants must be comfortable with living and working in a remote environment. Shared accommodations are provided.
