Job Description

  • Entering data. Greeting the public, giving tours of cottage and pointing out features
  • Selling tickets for the cottage draw
  • Educating the public about Big Brothers Big Sisters and its programs
  • Basic bookkeeping including balancing receipts, bank deposits, debit and credit transactions
  • Maintaining ticket sales record
  • Scanning files for database
  • Assisting Mentoring Coordinators with organizing
  • Mentoring boxes Other duties as required

Qualifications

Education:

  • University / College attendance

Skills Required:

  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Strong telephone skills
  • Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to represent the
  • Agency in the community in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound computer skills to manage Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet, and e-mail
  • Ability to work flexible hours
