Job Description

Customer Service and Sales Responsibilities: Welcome and assist customers upon their arrival at the store, offering them detailed product information and guidance. Demonstrate exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries regarding products, pricing, and promotional offers. Facilitate customer purchases by processing transactions at the cash register, managing cash, credit card, and various payment methods. Address customer inquiries and concerns to guarantee a pleasant shopping experience. Promote products and share product knowledge with customers.

Store Maintenance and Stocking Responsibilities: Restock shelves and ensure that merchandise is accurately labeled and priced. Regularly replenish products and maintain precise inventory levels to avoid stock shortages. Support inventory management and assist the store manager in tracking stock for reordering purposes. Ensure the store environment is clean and organized, including light cleaning and proper product display on the sales floor.

Teamwork and Store Operations Responsibilities: Collaborate with fellow staff members to facilitate daily store operations. Aid in compliance with company policies to ensure the store operates smoothly in accordance with established guidelines. Work together with the store manager to guarantee that the store is adequately stocked and that promotions are prominently displayed.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and computer skills with cash handling experience. Ability to stand for extended periods and possibility to lift up to 50 pounds. The ability to work evenings and/or weekends. Previous retail experience would be an advantage.
