Job Description

Successful applicant will hold the position of cook.  Responsibilities include planning, preparing and cooking dinner and supper for residents (3) and for various groups using the Centre.  The successful applicant  will also be responsible for kitchen and dining room  duties which include but are not limited to tasks such as ordering food, maintaining an organized and clean work area, maintaining excellent health standards and personal hygiene, etc.

Qualifications

Must have at least one year's experience in cooking and baking. 

Applicants must possess skills in:

Food preparation, cooking, baking, presentation

Kitchen maintenance and cleaning

Other

Maintenance and ordering stocks and supplies

Menu planning

Following food safety requirements and personal hygiene
