Position: Crêperie Team Member (Front & Back of House) Key Responsibilities • Prepare and serve crêpes, beverages, and desserts in accordance with established recipes and food-safety standards • Operate kitchen equipment (crêpe griddle, induction cooktops, prep stations) safely and efficiently • Provide warm, friendly, and attentive customer service, creating a welcoming café experience • Take customer orders accurately using the POS system and handle cash and card transactions responsibly • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, service counters, dining area, and storage spaces • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines (including handwashing and safe food handling) • Assist with daily opening and closing duties, including setup, restocking, and cleaning • Monitor ingredient levels and inform supervisors of low stock or supply needs • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service during peak periods • Support visual merchandising, light café presentation, and upkeep of the customer-facing areas • Respond professionally to customer questions, feedback, or concerns • Adhere to workplace policies, health & safety standards, and brand values of the crêperie Ideal for Students Who Are • Interested in culinary arts, hospitality, tourism, or customer service • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn • Passionate about food, service, and creating memorable guest experiences

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory) • Previous experience in food service, café, restaurant, or customer service is an asset, but training will be provided • Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Willingness to learn food preparation techniques and follow standardized recipes • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks (lifting, cleaning, food prep) • Basic math skills for order taking and cash handling • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices or willingness to obtain Food Safety Certification • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods |
On-the-job training will be provided • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a French-inspired café environment. If you are bilingual or have French as your second language that would be a bonus. But not a prerequisite.
