Job Description

Duties Include: • Making Breads, Rolls, Pies, and Cakes • Measuring and mixing ingredients into dough according to a recipe • Roll and/or cut dough according to specifications of recipe • Baking final product • Ensure food quality and presentation meets standards • Keep the work area, utensils, and production equipment in a clean, sanitized state • Work with specialized cooking equipment (industrial mixing machines, convection ovens.) • Follow Health and Safety procedures and identify unsafe practices or conditions • Control waste and spoilage • Restock any low items during the shift • Assist all team members whenever needed • Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications

Qualifications: • Grade 12 education or equivalent • One year’s experience if certified; three year’s experience if not • Experience in a similar environment preferred • Ability to work independently or as a close-knit team • Ability to work early morning shifts • Excellent attention to detail and proven creativity • Ability to be self-motivated • Good verbal and written communication skills
