Job Description

• Monday to Friday day shifts (40 hours per week), some evening work hours maybe required.
• Conduct MVI’s on trailers, gas vehicles, and diesel pickups.
• Service and repair most make and models of gas vehicles and diesel pickups including oil changes, tire installation, perform engine and electrical diagnostics, repair brake and suspension systems, power steering and driveline systems, A/C repair and maintenance, light duty welding and fabrication, exhaust repair and manifold installation, replace transmissions and engines.
• Fill out work orders accurately on each job including parts, fluids, shop supplies, and labour time.
• Keep a clean and organized shop environment.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Automotive License is required, at least two years of experience is preferred.
• PEI Motor Vehicle Inspection License is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and own transportation.
• Provide your own set of automotive tools (speciality tools will be provided).
• Experience with diesel pickup trucks is considered a strong asset.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
