Job Description

The accounting clerk will support the Financial Manager, focusing on financial tasks such as bank reconciliations, data entry, generating reports, preparation of spreadsheets, processing payroll and HST and tracking shipping costs. This position will assist with month end and year end preparation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Computer literacy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage Accounting
  • Quick leaner with positive attitude
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail Integrity to handle confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task
  • Professional attitude and presentation
