CONFIRMATION FEES
Canadian applicants
- When you receive an acceptance offer for a Holland College program, you must pay a confirmation fee to hold your seat in that program. Without this confirmation fee, the seat will remain available to other applicants.
- The confirmation fee for all Canadian applicants is $500.
- This fee is credited toward your tuition cost. You have three weeks from the date of your acceptance to confirm your intention to attend Holland College.
International applicants

Program Based Tuition
- You must pay 60% of tuition and lab fees and 100% of other fees by the first day of the program, and 40% of tuition and lab fees by the first day of the second half of the program.
Course Based Tuition
- Tuition and lab fees are based on the number of courses you take each semester. All fees, including any additional fees and student union dues, are due in full by the first day of the semester.

Payments can be made with cash or by debit card, cheque, money order, or via online banking through most Canadian banks.

International Applicants
- Due dates for tuition, lab and other fees are the same as for Canadian applicants (see above).
- All international students must pay international student fees in addition to their program tuition fee.
- First-year international students pay a $4,000 CAD student fee, second-year international students pay a $3,250 CAD student fee (2020/2021 only). All international students also pay $750 for international health insurance, and $420 for medical and dental insurance through the student union. These fees are due by the first day of the program.
- The international student fee is not refundable unless you have been denied a study permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Once Holland College receives a copy of the refusal letter, we will issue a refund. To notify us if you cannot obtain a study permit, email admissions@hollandcollege.com. Requests for refund must be received by the College within 60 days of the issued date of the refusal letter.
- If you can show that you have medical and dental insurance coverage for the time that you are enrolled at Holland College, you can opt out of the medical and dental insurance provided through the student union. In order to opt out of the international health insurance, you must have a valid Province of P.E.I. health card.
Payments can be made with cash or by debit card, cheque, money order, through Western Union, or via online banking through most Canadian banks.

REFUND POLICIES
CONFIRMATION FEE REFUND POLICY
Canadian applicants
If you need to cancel your seat in a Holland College program, you must to notify us by contacting admissions@hollandcollege.com.
If you cancel your seat before the program begins, you will be eligible for a partial refund of your confirmation fee as follows:
- Fifty percent (50%) of the fee will be refunded up to thirty (30) days before the start date for the program. You must have paid the confirmation fee in full to be eligible for the partial refund.
- No refund of the fee will be granted within 30 days of the start of the program.
- If you are accepted less than 30 days before to the start date of the program, you will receive a refund of 50% of the fee, providing you notify us by the end of the last working day before the program starts.

International applicants
The confirmation fee for international students is non-refundable; however, International students registered in a program with a blended delivery model who are unable to obtain a study permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and who have canceled their admission prior to the program start date will have their confirmation fee refunded if they provide Holland College with a copy of the letter of refusal from CIC. The letter of refusal from CIC must be received by the college within 60 days of the issued date of the letter.

Partial tuition fee refunds will vary depending upon the reason for the request, and the timing of the request.
