Program Assistant - LINC Program

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Program Manager of Community Education the ideal candidate will:

  • Work with a team to create, organize and maintain administrative processes related to the waitlist.
  • Compile client information required for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly enrolment & waitlist reports.
  • Input and record all relevant client information into databases in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Contact potential students for class scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate class lists and track student movement through language levels.
  • Communicate regularly with Instructors to ensure efficient scheduling.
  • Assist team with clerical duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in office administration, business or a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Strong communication and computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel & OneDrive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working or training in a cross-cultural environment or the ability to speak an additional language is an asset.
