The Culinary Institute of Canada reopened today, welcoming the public back to campus to enjoy exceptional culinary experiences and products crafted by students in the college’s esteemed Culinary and Pastry Arts programs.
This year, The Dining Room, The Marché and the Grab and Go Market will operate from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays and scheduled breaks), offering a more consistent schedule across all outlets.
“This shift to weekday-only service streamlines our hours across all outlets, while continuing to offer the outstanding food and hospitality our guests have come to expect,” said Janna Vessey, operations manager. “We are a student-driven operation, so we still have occasional service interruptions during class changes, but we’ve added those special hours to our website to minimize the inconvenience to guests”.
Guests can look forward to the same high-quality products and meals that have given The Culinary Institute of Canada its reputation for excellence. Our popular bread service will continue to operate Tuesday through Friday each week, and our Friday lunch buffet will also return to The Dining Room starting Oct. 10th.
The reopening marks the return of a beloved dining experience in downtown Charlottetown and an opportunity for students to sharpen their skills in a public-facing, high-volume service setting.
“Our restaurants allow us to showcase the emerging culinary talent of our students,” said Ross Midgley, Program Manager of The Culinary Institute of Canada. “Every product and plate reflects our students’ dedication and craftsmanship, and every visit supports their journey toward professional excellence.”
Because operations may shift with student schedules, guests are encouraged to visit theculinary.ca to preview menus and to make reservations for The Dining Room.

Bread Service: Tuesday to Friday, starting at 12:00 PM
Monday to Friday: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Lunch: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Dinner: Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
