Travel Information

Please read the information below carefully, as it provides you with information about the steps that you must follow to enter Canada and Prince Edward Island.

COMPLETE THE HOLLAND COLLEGE PRE-APPROVAL TRAVEL FORM

  1. ALL students will be required to complete the following online form: Holland College | Pre-Travel Approval. Completion of the form will enable us to confirm that you are eligible to receive a Letter of Enrollment from Holland College. The Letter of Enrollment will be used for entering Canada and Prince Edward Island, and the letter may be needed for your applications to enter both Canada and P.E.I. The letter will be emailed to you once completed.
  2. When responding to the question, “Will you be applying to stay provincial government approved isolation location?”, you must respond with “YES” if you are not fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine. If you are fully vaccinated, you may select “NO”.

INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO ENTER CANADA

  1. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers arriving to Canada are required to complete a three-day mandatory hotel stay at one of four airports in Canada that are receiving international travelers. The cost of this three-day hotel stay upon arrival into Canada is the responsibility of the student.
  2. You must follow all the rules and requirements of the Government of Canada in order to be eligible to enter Canada. Click here to review all the current regulations and steps that you will need to complete to successfully enter Canada.
  3. To enter Canada, you may have to submit a 14-day isolation plan; however, once you arrive to the province of P.E.I. (after your three-day mandatory hotel isolation), you will only need to complete an eight-day isolation.
