Job Location: Our Ideal Candidate is located in the GTA, but as a hybrid company we welcome candidates from across Canada.

The Job: We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior three.js Developer to lead the development of 3D computer graphics for our education and training simulations. As a senior-level developer, you will eventually be responsible for mentoring and leading a team of developers, as well as working collaboratively with instructional designers and subject matter experts to create immersive learning experiences. To start, you will work independently to establish and lead our development process

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement interactive 3D computer graphics for education and training simulations Lead and mentor a team of developers Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to create immersive learning experiences Optimize 3D graphics for web browser performance
  • Troubleshoot and debug 3D graphics issues Stay up-to-date with the latest three.js development trends and technologies
  • Work with project managers to plan and estimate project timelines and deliverables

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 2+ years of experience in three.js development
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams of developers
  • Extensive experience with WebGL and other related technologies
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Experience with creating 3D models, textures, and animations
  • Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
