Hurricanes Physiotherapy 200 at Richmond Raceway preview

The fight for positions in the Round-of-12 continues on Tuesday night as the Canadian eMotorsports Network NASCAR Series playoffs head to the virtual-Richmond Raceway for the Hurricanes Physiotherapy 200.

200 laps around the ¾ mile raceway will help paint a clearer picture of who will advance alongside race one winner, Ryan Gibson (Darlington); the top-12 of 16 drivers advance to the next round following next week’s race at Bristol.

Jose Mercado, Darcy Ford, Scott Bailey, Jacob Nelson, Mike Marini are all sitting pretty with point cushions of at least 25-points, while Trevor Kinsey, Corbin MacAulay and Chad Hyder all sit with at least 16-point cushions.

Where it gets interesting is from tenth through fifteenth.

Currently, Michael Robinson holds the final advancing spot with Daniel Cudmore trailing by just two-points, Lee Campbell by four-points, and Jason Maluchnik by six points.  Kevin Daigle is currently in the eleventh spot with a four-point cushion while Jason MacQuarrie is in tenth with a 13-point cushion.

Anything can happen at a short-track so be sure to tune in live on Tuesday, September 22 at 7:45pm eastern to watch the Hurricanes Physiotherapy 200 at www.facebook.com/eMotorsportsCAN.
