This is the third of five road-courses on the calendar this season and will take place over 45 laps around the 2.45-mile speedway divided into three stages. This is also the third-last race of the regular season, with the playoffs beginning following the upcoming Darlington and Daytona races.
In 2020, Corbin MacAulay (PEI, Canada, Red Dirt Racing) earned the victory at Watkins Glen with Mike Marini (Ontario, Canada, True North Racin’), Chad Hyder (Ohio, USA, Team !Hazzah!) and Kevin Daigle (Ontario, Canada, True North Racin’) also earning top-five finishes.
This season, MacAulay has continued to impress on road-courses, leading the series with a 4.00 average finishing position in Canada and Sonoma, alongside Scott Bailey (Michigan, USA, Midwest Elite E-Racing).
The focus will continue to be on those drivers fighting for a playoff spot, as 15th through 18th is separated by only 13-points. The top 16-drivers earn a berth into the post-season.
