The following information is only for those students who are not in P.E.I. or who plan to leave P.E.I. prior to the second semester start date and whose programs are being delivered in a blended format for the second semester starting in January 2021. Please read all the information below very carefully.

Students who are currently living outside of the Province of Prince Edward Island must follow the steps below in order to be authorized to enter the province. We strongly recommend that you not finalize your travel plans until you have received your pre-travel approval from the Province of Prince Edward Island.
NOTE: If you are unable to provide the Province of Prince Edward Island with a 14-day self-isolation plan that meets the requirements, you may be housed in a provincially pre-approved self-isolation location. If this is the case, you must make sure that you arrive in Prince Edward Island no later than January 4, 2021.
To apply for pre-travel approval follow these steps:
When you arrive in Prince Edward Island you MUST travel dircectly to your pre-planned self-isolation location. Only students who complete the Holland College online Pre-Travel Approval Form will receive more information regarding self-isolation plans.
NOTE FOR STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE THEIR OWN 14-DAY SELF-ISOLATION PLAN
The Province of P.E.I. is in the process of arranging a 14-day self-isolation location which will include accommodations, food, security, and Internet/wi-fi. In order to qualify for the Province of P.E.I.’s pre-approved self-isolation location, students MUST arrive in P.E.I. before January 4, 2021.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
You MUST follow the steps outlined above.
You must also ensure that you are eligible to enter Canada and are exempt from any federal travel restrictions. You are responsible for ensuring that you are eligible to enter Canada prior to departing your home country. Please do not travel to Canada unless you are certain that you meet all requirements outlined by the Government of Canada.
If you are not eligible to enter Canada prior to your program start date, please inform us as soon as possible.
HOW TO DETERMINE IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER CANADA
This Government of Canada webpage outlines who is eligible to enter Canada. Visit the page often, as some of these restrictions could change daily, weekly, or monthly. Holland College is a Designated Learning Institute (DLI ) with a COVID-19 readiness plan that has been approved by IRCC and the Province of Prince Edward Island to receive international students that have approved study permits and are required to be on campus in order to continue in their program.
Only students with a fully approved study permit will be eligible to enter Canada.
NOTE: If you do not follow the provincial and federal government pre-travel approval guidelines you will not be able to travel to Canada or to Prince Edward Island, and you may not be able to attend Holland College classes this winter.
