Holland College Ease-Back Plan Phase 3

As part of the Covid-19 Phase 3 Ease-Back Plan all exterior doors will be locked at all times and will only be accessible via controlled access to approved students, employees, and individuals using the Holl Pass proximity card system. This is to allow for improved contact tracing and to assist in limiting density on our campus locations.How to obtain OR activate a Holl Pass

FOR STUDENTS

Each student who requires building (Holl Pass) access to a Holland College facility must: be a registered student if not a registered student or current employee the individual's request must be approved in writing by a relevant college director or vice president.

If you are a current student AND currently have a Holl Pass or active key fob prior to March 13, 2020:

Holl Pass card - Email hollpassphoto@hollandcollege.com and acknowledge that you have reviewed the COVID-19 Ease-Back Plan Phase 3 (R2) Orientation, and provide the 10-digit number on the upper left corner of the back of your card.

Key Fob – E-mail hollpassphoto@hollandcollege.com and acknowledge that you have reviewed the COVID-19 Ease-Back Plan Phase 3 Orientation (see attached), and provide the number on the fob if visible. Indicate in e-mail if the number is not visible for further assistance.

You will receive an email when your card or fob has been programmed and ready for use.   You will not need to stop by the Holl Pass office for this activation to occur.
 
If you are a current student and do NOT have a Holl Pass:

Take a current and clear photo of yourself (in colour, jpg format, white, smooth background, centered, show a front view of face, cropped like a passport, show open and visible eyes, wear prescription glasses if you normally do so).  No filters hats, sunglasses, shadows, or other visible people or objects in the photo.

Email hollpassphoto@hollandcollege.com using your student ID number as the subject line, and include the following information:

Attach your photo and acknowledge that you have reviewed the COVID-19 Ease-Back Plan Phase 3 (R2) Orientation.

Individuals will receive an email confirming the submission, and one advising that the Holl Pass card is available for pick up.

FOR EMPLOYEES

If you had a Holl Pass or active key fob prior to March 13, 2020:

Holl Pass card - Email hollpassphoto@hollandcollege.com and acknowledge that you have reviewed the COVID-19 Ease-Back Plan Phase 3 Orientation, and provide the 10-digit number on the upper left corner of the back of your card.

NOTE: If an employee may be working alone, a Working Alone Plan must be completed and submitted to their Supervisor.  This does not need to be submitted to the Holl Pass team.

External groups applying to use Holland College facilities must complete an External Group Application form. Download the form here.

For contact tracing purposes every individual who is not an approved Holland College student or employee must complete the COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire & Contact Tracing form prior to or upon entry to a Holland College facility. This process and documentation must be completed for each day the individual(s) intends to enter a Holland College facility.


Bookstore

In keeping with Holland College's safety practices and social distancing guidelines, Samuel’s Campus store, in the Charlottetown Center, is working on creating safety practices for all of our student, staff and faculty intake for the fall of 2020. We are currently closed to the public, but want you to know we have implemented a number of processes to ensure you feel safe when shopping with us. We will launch our new e-commerce website soon.

COVID-19 Safety Practices for Back to School Fall 2020

Samuel’s Campus Store will re-open to customers. Please note that store operations are subject to change based on the directive from Holland College and the Chief Public Health Officer. 


Chartwells

Chartwells has established several safe processes to ensure the students and staff at Holland College can still enjoy a safe dining experience at our food service locations. In September, the only food service location open will be the Credit Union Café in the Charlottetown Centre on the Prince of Wales Campus. The cafés in the Centre for Community Engagement and the Centre for Applied Science and Technology are closed until further notice.
