Description
Students are introduced to concepts that relate to how individuals, groups, and structure affect and are affected by behaviour within organizations. Students examine the impact of individual and group behaviour on an organization's outcomes and processes. The main areas of focus include the foundations of individual behaviour, the role of motivation, individual and group decision making, leadership, conflict, negotiation, and organization change models.

This is a credit toward the Business Administration and Accounting Technology programs. It is accepted as one of the prerequisites to the Human Resource Management program.

This course will be delivered on-line in a distance asynchronous format. There will be no face to face or scheduled classes. Classes will be recorded and posted to the Holland College Learning Management System for students to view in their own time. Instructors will have posted office hours for support.
